I hope you had a fantastic fall break.  Students were excited to be back in their classrooms learning and visiting with their friends.  

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Parent teacher conferences will be held on November 23 from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm and on November 24 from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm.  Conferences will close on November 22 at 10pm.  To book, please use the link https://sis.cbe.ab.ca/public/. Please note that both days will be in-person.  If you require an online option, please contact your homeroom teacher after you have booked in the system.  They will arrange the online option for you.

Kindergarten (Rodriguez) – conferences will be available on Thursday during the day (Morning and Afternoon) as well.  Kindergarten (Galvez) will be available on Thursday during the morning only, and then again in the evening.  Both will be available on Friday. 

Lunchroom and Field Trips Fees

Parents, please be aware that the noon supervision registration is now open. If your student stays at school over the lunch program, please register at http://sis.cbe.ab.ca/public/ As well, all school-based fees will be populated in this portal as events happen.  Please take note of the fees to pay them in a timely manner. 

Fun lunches

The next Fun Lunch will take place on November 27 from Edo Japan. Your last day to order is Thursday November 23. 

Fundraisers

The School Council is running a Winter Plants (Poinsettias, wreaths, etc.) fundraiser.  Today will be the last day to order. The order forms are attached here for your reference. 

WO Mitchell School Council 

WO Council helps connect parents to the school and provides additional learning opportunities for all students. There are many ways to get involved that do not require you to hold a position on council. If you would like more information about getting connected or volunteer opportunities, please send an email to womparents@gmail.com  The next meeting will be taking place on November 21 at 7pm.  This will be a hybrid meeting with the option to attend in person or online via Microsoft Teams.  The Grade 4 team will be presenting for this meeting.
