Learning Commons at the CBE
Today’s learners cannot imagine life without the internet and supporting technology. The concept of the traditional library is changing to include technology, online tools and spaces for collaboration and exploration.
While not visible, yet, we have been working with CDI Spaces and DIRTT to reimagine our learning commons, through the acquisition of materials, furniture, etc to support a vibrant, flexible, and transformative space. We have also purchased many things that support a Maker Space ethos, including furniture, robotics and coding materials, and a new SMARTboard.
We wish to acknowledge our School Council for the part that they play in making this space evolve, including but not limited to fundraising efforts to help finance this important work!
