Queridas familias,

We held our logo vote this week, and it was wonderful to see all of our students take the process very seriously.  It is my pleasure to announce that option #2 was the winner.  We are in the process of finalizing the digital image, and then our website will be updated with the new logo.

Que Pasa

As mentioned last week, our grade 3 students did an amazing job performing at the Jubilee Auditorium. Thank you to the CBE for filming the event.  You can watch our school’s performance through Que Pasa 2024.

Volunteer Tea

Save the date! Our first Post Covid Volunteer Tea will take place on May 22 at 2pm.  We look forward to seeing you then!

Extra Clothing

As we venture into Spring, rain (and snow) is coming down more often.  Please make sure that you pack some extra clothing if your child gets wet, especially socks. 

Lunchroom and Field Trips Fees

Parents, please be aware that the noon supervision registration is open. If your student stays at school over the lunch program, please register through your MyCBE Account  As well, all school-based fees will be populated in this portal as events happen.  Please take note of the fees to pay them in a timely manner. 

Fun Lunches

The next Fun Lunch will take place on June 17 from Edo Japan.  

WO Mitchell School Council 

WO Council helps connect parents to the school and provides additional learning opportunities for all students. There are many ways to get involved that do not require you to hold a position on council. If you would like more information about getting connected or volunteer opportunities, please send an email to womparents@gmail.com  The next meeting will be taking place on May 21 at 7pm.  This will be a hybrid meeting in person and via Microsoft Teams.  The grade 1 team will be presenting during this meeting.
