Yesterday I had the pleasure to view and visit with all of the Science Fair participants. It was a great turn out with some great ideas to explore. A big thank you to all of the families who made this event possible, and specially our Science Fair volunteer who runs the club, along with all of the judges who were able to help!

Kindergarten and Grade 1 Registration

We continue to accept registrations for Kindergarten and Grade 1 until noon of Tuesday February 13, 2024. Our lottery will be held on February 14 at noon. If you know of families who are looking for a Spanish Bilingual school, please let them know to check out our webpage for more information.

SPB Open House

SPB will host their Open House on February 14, 2024 from 6-8pm. During the open house, you can learn more about the Bilingual Program, the options that are available, and have a chance to meet the staff and students.

Scholastic Book Fair

We will be hosting our Scholastic Book Fair on March 19-22. More details will be forthcoming.

Lunchroom and Field Trips Fees

Parents, please be aware that the noon supervision registration is open. If your student stays at school over the lunch program, please register at MyCBE As well, all school-based fees will be populated in this portal as events happen. Please take note of the fees to pay them in a timely manner.

Fun Lunches

The next Fun Lunch will take place on February 20 from Coco Brooks Pizza.

WO Mitchell School Council

WO Council helps connect parents to the school and provides additional learning opportunities for all students. There are many ways to get involved that do not require you to hold a position on council. If you would like more information about getting connected or volunteer opportunities, please send an email to womparents@gmail.com The next meeting will be taking place on February 27 at 7pm. This will be an online meeting via Microsoft Teams. The Grade 3 team will be presenting for this meeting.
