Before and After School Care

Most childcare facilities located in CBE schools will continue to operate. Please contact your childcare provider for more information.

After-hours public rentals in schools will continue.

Fees

Families may have paid fees for field trips or other school-based activities that may be cancelled. Any fees paid for services not delivered will be adjusted accordingly.

Financial Resources for Families

The Alberta government has made financial resources available to families. To access funds, eligible parents must create an account online.

Learning Toolkits

Alberta Education and Childcare has created a free toolkit that parents can use to help support their child’s independent learning when schools close. The toolkit provides weekly resources that follow the K to 12 curriculum. Resources are available in English, French and French Immersion. The toolkit includes materials for two weeks of learning. Additional weeks of learning materials will be added as needed. You can download the toolkits at new.learnalberta.ca
