WOM School Council Playground Project

After several costly repairs to our playground this past year, we learned that our playground has reached the end of its usable lifespan. As a result, we may continue to see issues that require immediate attention, replacement parts are becoming increasingly difficult to source due to the age of the equipment.

Based on this information, School Council was advised to begin planning for a full playground replacement. A committee was formed to explore the process and determine the funding needs. Three play-solutions companies were invited to submit proposals, each including a quote and design renderings. After reviewing all submissions, the school council playground committee selected one company based on the strength of their proposal.

More information about next steps and opportunities for involvement will be shared soon.

What now?

We are preparing fundraising initiatives and exploring available grants to help us secure the necessary funds. Families can expect to see an increase in fundraising activities in the coming months as we work toward bringing a new playground to our school community.

How can you help?

Please watch for upcoming fundraisers and support them when you can. Sharing these initiatives with family and friends is also greatly appreciated.
If you or your employer would like to donate to this legacy project, please reach out!
